Princess Feathers

One of my early patterns which was inspired by an antique quilt, using the Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics. I didn't have as much of a fabric stash back then, so I used a reproduction background fabric with tiny stars. It was weird but it was harder using these bright fabrics against a reproduction one - maybe the background had a bit of grey in it. The four borders use the same design and I found it hard going. After this quilt, I tended to design quilts with four different borders.
